This version of Pan was one of the earlier electronic music compositions of LiamSckhot and honors the pagan god of forests and fields.

The chant that inspired the music was written by Elizabeth Kirwin and was sung for the composer before this piece was made.  The beginning is a tone used to call the God, a phantasmagoric figure of nature.
